Mission

WDA Europe is a world wide organization under the auspices of The International Dance Committee of The International Theatre Institute of UNESCO (IDC ITI/UNESCO).

WDA Europe serves as a primary voice for the art of dance throughout the world, and encourages the exchange of ideas and the awareness of dance in all it’s various forms. WDA Europe is a non-profit organization that supports the preservation of intangible heritage of humanity. WDA Europe sustains, education, realization, research and documentation of the performing and visual arts that in this historical moment in Europe are living a new creative renaissance.

WDA Europe creates a passionate reality within the panorama of the existent dance world and has become a focus point for professionals and amateurs. The activity that WDA Europe organizes has a large target appealing to those that have an interest in all forms of dance. Are members are dancers, teachers, choreographers, dance theatre and music companies, writers, actors, musicians, composers, artists, graphic designers, directors, researchers, cultural organizations, schools, universities, etc..

WDA Europe has given its auspices to many cultural activities and organizes, round tables, cultural exchanges, festivals, workshops, performances, etc.

WDA Europe is proud to have many European countries as members such as Sweden, Serbia, Grecce, Italy, France, Holland, Belgium, Cypress, UK, Portugal, etc.

WDA Europe collaborates as an official partner for the realization of the celebration for “International Dance Day” created by IDC ITI/UNESCO that is held world wide on each April 29.
